About Us

The Vegan Biosphere Institute (VBI) is a not-for-profit research and innovation organisation by Vegan Biosphere Ltd dedicated to researching and shaping the conditions for a possible vegan biosphere - a world where human societies live in compassionate synergy with the Biosphere, the Earth’s ecosystems, nature, and the environment.

Founded in London, VBI embraces the city’s emergence as a global epicentre for veganism and sustainability. Our work integrates science, creativity, ethics, arts, and systems innovation to reconnect humans with the biosphere through compassionate food systems, plant-based lifestyles, and regenerative living.
